Size guide

Motorcycle helmets are measured by head circumference — not hat size. A properly fitted helmet is snug but never painful, and it should sit level on your head with the front rim about 2.5 cm above your eyebrows.

How to measure your head

1. Take a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string you'll measure after).
2. Wrap it around the widest part of your head — about 2.5 cm (1 inch) above your eyebrows and ears.
3. Keep the tape level and snug — not tight.
4. Note the measurement in centimeters or inches.

Fit tips

• Between two sizes? Size down. Helmet padding compresses slightly with wear, and a snug fit is safer than a loose one.
• Check the cheek pads — they should touch your cheeks firmly without causing discomfort.
• Try the shake test — with the strap fastened, shake your head. The helmet should move your scalp, not slide on your head.
• The forehead check — press up on the front of the helmet. It shouldn't move more than about 2.5 cm.
• Give it 15–20 minutes on your first wear — a properly fitted helmet may feel snug at first but shouldn't cause pressure points or headaches.
